School Meals

Under the new Government initiative all children in Reception class, Year 1 & Year 2 are entitled to a free school meal. School meals for children in Years 3, 4, 5 & 6 are priced below.

School meals should be picked daily in the classroom by the pupil, assisted by a member of staff.

Prices are as follows:

Meal – £2.40 per day

Snack - a buttered bagel provided free of charge daily at break time

Juice is available from the school kitchen at lunchtimes

Water is available free of charge.

School meals options are selected in the classroom during morning registration. All school meals should be paid for (if applicable) and booked in advance on the school's School Money web page. Access to this is granted on admission to our school.

A copy of the lunch menu is available from the school office.

Allergies

If your child has an allergy please inform us immediately so that we

can arrange suitable precautions.

Supervisors encourage children to ‘try’ the food on their plates but do not give ultimatums about finishing all food.  If they note that a child is not eating very well on a number of days, the parents will be told.

Children may bring a healthy packed lunch if you wish.

Forms to claim free school meals are available from the school office.  If it is your entitlement – please claim even if you do not intend to take up free school meals. .
